What is Solar Energy ?



SOLAR ENERGY is defined as " light and heat energy received directly from the Sun". 




"Solar" is the Latin word for "sun" and it's a powerful source of energy. Without it, there will be no life. Solar energy is considered as a serious source of energy for many years because of the vast amounts of energy that is made freely available, if harnessed by modern technology. This energy is in the form of solar radiation, which makes the production of solar electricity possible.Solar cells are devices that convert light energy directly into electrical energy. In these cells, there are something known as semiconductors (partial electricity and heat conductors - hence the prefix - semi).

A black hole is a place in space where gravity pulls so much that even light can not get out. The gravity is so strong because matter has been squeezed into a tiny space. This can happen when a star is dying. Because no light can get out, people can't see black holes. They are invisible. Space telescopes with special tools can help find black holes. The special tools can see how stars that are very close to black holes act differently than other stars. A black hole can not be seen because strong gravity pulls all of the light into the middle of the black hole.
